The 25+ Mississippi Scholastic Press Association Awards are prestigious recognitions given to students and schools for excellence in journalism and media production. These awards highlight outstanding achievements in MY CAREER such as, photography, VIDEO, AMD design, showcasing MY talent and hard work of young across the state.
in 2024 I RECIVED THE ALL-MISSISSIPPI STUDENT JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR AWARD. The All-Mississippi Student Journalist of the Year award is a highly coveted honor bestowed upon a high school journalist who has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and impact in the field of journalism. this award is given to the top 11 student journalist in the state of Mississippi
i am apart of two club at tupelo high school to help me start my career. I am a part of the sports commutations club and the wave media journalism group. The Sports Communication Program is designed to train students in the specialized field of sports journalism and media. This program covers topics such as sports writing, broadcasting, and social media management, giving students a well-rounded education in sports communication. Students learn to cover sporting events, conduct interviews, and create engaging content for various platforms.
last but not least I am the social media manager for the tupelo girls' basketball team. As the Social Media Manager for the 2023 State Champions Girls Basketball Team, the role involves managing and curating the team's online presence across various social media platforms. This includes creating engaging content, promoting games and events, and celebrating the team's achievements. The social media manager plays a crucial role in building the team's brand, connecting with fans, and enhancing the team's visibility and reputation.
