Ever since I was in 8th grade, I've had a special passion for photos. I've always been captivated by the power of photos because they can express feelings, tell stories, and expose the truth in today's world. This fascination has led me to the journey I'm on right now in life and journalism.

I vividly remember when I was home for my 13th birthday, and my momma brought home my first-ever camera. I was amazed! I could instantly tell that photography was going to be one of my favorite hobbies. I quickly hopped on YouTube to research more about my camera and learn about its different modes and settings.

As I grew older, my passion for photography only grew stronger. When I joined Ms. Adams' digital media class at the beginning of 10th grade, I started sharing my work on social media. I became more knowledgeable about cameras and their settings. Ms. Adams taught me various styles of photography and graphics, and I even started my own photography business in the middle of 10th grade. I showcase my talents through posts and graphics, and people started to notice.

I also met my current media teacher, Ms. Chumley, who truly showed me and influenced me with her belief in my strong potential in photography and graphic design. During the last quarter of my sophomore year, I began working with the girls' basketball team, and my career took off from there. I started doing photos for everyone in my school, from prom photos to sports photos, beauty photos, and more. I showcased my skills and showed people why my passion and talent in photography were so strong.

As my 11th-grade year approached, I had already become well-known for my photography skills, so I kept going and kept researching because in photography you can find out new things every day. As I tell my parents, photography is not just a hobby for me. It is a profession and a passion that I plan on doing throughout my life. It is a way for me to connect with the people around me and leave my mark.
When I graduate high school, my plan is to go to University of Miss and pursue my talents and major in IMC and do photography for sports and graduates. have studied the work of famous freelance photographers and seen different styles.
